Young Dolph’s birth date is the 27th of July 1983, and his place of birth is Chicago, Illinois. He spent two years of his early life in Chicago and moved to Memphis with his family. In his family, he lived alongside his siblings. Young Dolph has four siblings. He has two sisters and two brothers.

Unfortunately, Dolph didn’t have an ideal childhood, as his parents were drug-addicted. Yong Doplh sometimes didn’t see his parents for weeks in his early life days. However, in his parents’ absence, his grandmother cared for and raised him. But, Young Dolph was not happy with his grandmother’s parenting. His cause of death included fatal lung cancer.

Young Dolph started his career after the death of his grandmother in 2008 by releasing his first mixtape titled “Paper Route Campaign.” After achieving initial success in singing, he decided to pursue a career in rap music. He established his independent label in 2010 with the name of “Raper Route Empire.” Under the umbrella of his label, he released first mixtape for mainstream media titled “Welcome 2 Dolph World” in 2010. In the following year, he released two other mixtapes with the following titles:

  •  High-Class Street Music
  •  High-class street Music two

In the same year, Young Dolph started developing his unique raping style called “Vociferous” with “Magnetic Delivery and Uniquely Deep Voice.” In the second last month of 2012, Dolph released multiple mixtapes with the following title names:

  • Blue Magic

Death of Young Dolph

Young Dolph got two assassination attempts. He survived his first murder attempt in Feb 2017 when around one hundred rounds were fired at him. This incident took place in Charlotte, North Carolina. He got multiple gunshot wounds; however, he recovered from his injuries after two weeks. Initially, this attack was associated with his rivalry with fellow rapper “Yo Gotti.” However, later investigation proved he was not behind this criminal activity and was clear of allegations.

The second murder attempt took place in front of a bakery in his town, “Memphis,” on the 17th of November 2021. He could not survive this time and died on the same day. According to his postmortem reports, he got 22 bullets as a result of firing. After one year of his death, “Hernandez Govan” was indicted for conspiring and ordering the murder of Young Dolph. Yet justice is waiting to be done in the case as the trials of this case are under process.
